About Our Club
Wilson County Beekeepers has been bringing together bee enthusiasts since 2018.
Our Story
Started in May of 2018, the Wilson County Beekeepers Association is a growing club of beekeeping enthusiasts in Wilson, North Carolina. We hold regular meetings on the first Thursday of every month where members share knowledge, learn from guest speakers, and support each other in the rewarding practice of beekeeping.

Our Mission
We are dedicated to promoting the art and science of beekeeping in Wilson County and surrounding areas. Our goals include:
- Educating the public about the importance of honeybees
- Providing resources and mentorship for new beekeepers
- Supporting sustainable beekeeping practices
- Connecting our community through a shared passion
What We Do
Our club offers a variety of activities and resources for beekeepers of all experience levels:
- Monthly Meetings: Educational presentations, Q&A sessions, and community updates
- Beginner Beekeeping School: Annual course for those just getting started
- NC Master Beekeeping Program: Information and support for members pursuing state certification
- Swarm Removal: We help relocate honeybee swarms safely
- Mentorship: New members can be paired with experienced beekeepers
- Club Honey: Purchase local honey from our members
