2020 April Meeting

I would like to say welcome to all the new members! Our club is really growing! I hope you all plan to attend our monthly meetings and participate in the field days in our club apiary. I send meeting reminders and the apiary committee will send out notices about field days. Since our club started in 2018 it has really grown and became a great learning tool to all of us beekeepers. Any time you have questions or concerns please share!
Meetings are the first Thursday night of each month at the agricultural center in Wilson unless otherwise noted. We have refreshments at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7:00.
Due to the current situation with the virus, we have decided to cancel our April 2nd meeting. We certainly hate to do this but for the safety of all our members we feel it is best. Look for emails with club information; and field days will obviously still be occurring. The bees don’t stop just because of the virus. The committee will be working on a schedule with a limited amount of participation at each field day. Hopefully everyone can get an opportunity to participate though, we just may have to take turns!
I hope all that attended the class last Saturday had a really great time. I understand it was a great day with a lot of wonderful presenters and information.
