2020 Apiary – May 31st

Thank you everybody that came out to the apiary last week, I think we had a good apiary visit and everybody got a chance to try to find eggs in a frame with black plastic foundation.
It is already time for us to plan our next visit. With the way the weather is looking, this weekend we are going to meet on Sunday the 31st at 8:00am.
Last week we did a mite count on two hives and one of them had 6 mites, which comes out to 2% and that is our threshold for treating.
Since we have honey supers on some of the hives, those will be treated with Formic Pro and the other hives without honey supers will get a ApiGuard.

Same rules as last time, we do everything we can to keep people safe and if you have a mask we encourage people to wear them.
