2018 July Meeting
July 5, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Our next meeting is July 5th at the Wilson Agriculture Center. Refreshments are at 6:30 with the meeting starting at 7:00. If you are able, please bring a snack to share. We will be having door prizes. Please donate items, they do not have to be bee related.
Rebekah Batts is our Program Director. Program will be on heat related emergencies and bee stings.
Our executive committee had its first meeting on June 18th. Here are a few of the topics that were discussed:
- By-laws and Constitution were signed and will be sent to the State
- Website, Facebook page and club logo design
- Mentorship program, Swarm call and Cutout sign ups
- Possible beekeepers school during the winter
- Monthly session to discuss what to look for in a hive
- Raffle and door prizes
- County Fair in September
- Fundraising Committee
